aits kinda cool.

its pretty coool. but i hate midi. and keep in mind im only 12 so i think i did a good job with the song of mine and so did you , tho i hate midi its good none the less. the older DnX is in collage.

hey its me again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey draze long time i havent revied your stuff.i uploaded a song and i was wondering if you could review it. anyways good job with the song. fivened from me. love the melody.

its pretty good.

this is realy funny. you are playing the same song i play like every day. anways back to the review.

origanilty- this is not realy original pretty much everybody plays this song.

diversity-this song isnt realy diverse . you kept to the same chord progression through out the whole, only addign stacato or mutting or sixteenth notes. but still pretty good.

im to lazy right now to finish this review but if you have an aim we talk about a collab about this song.
aim: guitarhero 1994

Scribbler responds:

You're never on AIM. Ah well, PM me if you are still interested in a collab.

cool.

one of my favorit anthems. lovee the bagpipage .Did you actulay use a bag pipe or did you use fl studio or some other program. anyways cool. fifened, and heres a cookie.

Thanks for your vote, DnX-Danefex! You voted 5 for Scottish anthem, raising its score from 2.50 to 3.33.

it was ok.

originality: well not realy original if you think that a kirby melody is original, but i did notice that you used the swing tool in the very begining. well not many ngers realy use it so bravo.

diversity10: bravo always changeing wich is nice . makes my ears feel warm and fuzzy inside.

clarity7: this is were we get some major major major major major major major major major problems, it was a little clear but it seemed the synth over powered the song. learn to use compression. it will make the song not max out. i recomened a double compression . have 2 compressors have 1 on a gain of 2 and the next on a gain of 6 or what every you feel like. just keep them evenly space and youll get your volume with out maxing out. btw keep your volumes low, that what the compressors do, they either add or take away volume.

effort9: it seemed that you put a lot of work in this song but you didnt finish polishing the rough edges.

overall9: it was a nice song, been listening to it while i write * heard it 6 times so far *. polish up some rough edges, compress compress compress. compress till your chode like fingers become bleeding stubs.lol.

good job though. hace a cookie * hands cookie*

Quickbeam responds:

First of all i would like to say thank you for the very long review. I only dabbled with the swing tool a bit, i didn't want to overload the song with it or it wouldn't have turned out as well as it did. I agree that the clarity wasn't good, i did otherload it with synth and i can admit that but i couldn't compress it anymore than it already was or the song would have sounded shit. I did kinda rush this song a bit and didn't bother correcting any of the mistakes i had made. I also didn't add any of the extra's i thought about. Like making a bit for the graveyard level and the underground graveyard tunnel, But when i started this song i didn't really know what i was doing and was kinda lost. But before i knew it i had started to create and mix some songs together from my huge collection of zelda tracks. After about 5 and a half hours i had created a song more powerful than the Zelda game itslef! Haha! I Rule!!! I'll take that cookie now! *Eats Cookie*

hey. fucking a.

goos fucking job. after 5 second * after the fade in* the way you played the riff seemed fairly close to meshuggahs new millenium cyanide christ. good fuckig njob though. keep em comeing. or should i say cuming.lol

cool song

its a neat beat. what program do you use?

Gendo responds:

ACID XPress 5.0, sir.

meharific.

GoreBastard responds:

No, I will not respond back............

BAAA!!! Yeah, here's what I use to make my stuff:

Acoustica Beatcraft.
This is the drum program that I use. You can get a 7 day trial from Acoustica.com
It's pretty cool but the best thing to do is get some better drum samples because the default one's are not too great.

Line 6 Guitar Port.
This device is awesome. It's basically a multi amp/multi effects guitar plugin for your computer. You plug your guitar in and select what amp model you want! It's well worth the money. Awesome piece of kit!

Cubase SX.
I use cubase to piece all of the songs together. Upload the drums, the record over them with the guitars, and there you have it! A SONG! YAY!!!

Anyway, cheers for listening mate! I'll look forward to hearing your stuff if you can get the right equipment!
Thanks for reviewing!

I hope I've helped you in some way!

this is one of your greatest works. seriously.

you starting to piss me of. lol your so damn good. see i would submit stuff here cuase ive been djing since i was 10 and im 27. i dj at the local clubs. and is it okay if i use some of your songs at the clubs. anyways onward to the review of this song.

8 originality- pretty popular song and alot of people are starting to remix/remake this sogn so its not that original cuase everybody is doing it. but you were one of the first to remix the song so ill give you an 8.

10 diversity- thiss song is always chcangeing from difrent synths, effects * the filters and parametic eq's* * you know how i know this stuff cuase i produce music for 17 years. and i dont use programs i use real time equipment. i have 7 thousand bucks worth of equipment. im starting to get into fl studio.i have fl studio 6.0.2 xxl edition * and im composeing on it its alot cheaper and has alot of options to.*legaly purchased*.

10 clarity- becuase the fiddleing around with the filters made the clearity either muffled or real live sounding wich i good it showes you know how to work the filters and eq.

10 effort- a superb job. it sound like it took you some time to compose this.

10 overall - im pissed cuase your so fucking good and your only 19 if you continue this by the time your 25 youll be better than me ......almost cuase by then ill be learning some awesome stuff to. and good job.

email me some time at guitarhero1994@aol.com

Draze responds:

Hey thanks for this great review dude!

By the way, i'm not 19 i'm 17 ;)

pretty good .

originality 8 - not that original. basic beat no breaks. there is one synth that is like a bass its to loud and doesnt fit.

diversity 7 - not that divverse oter than the orchestral piece and a hit.

clarity 8 - its that synth that realy annoys me. that looses some clarity in the song but good job with that.

effort 6- well it seems to me with this song you didnt spend much effort. same with the kick i just dont like it its a bit to clicky for me.

overall 8- a mixture of video game style music and techno. good job this isnt one of your best tracks though. keep produceing music.
